John has more than 30 years of experience collecting marine data and managing project teams that deliver. John has a masters in Envrionmental Engineering and went on to work as a researcher and set up and led the National Oceanographic Data Centre. He then held several positions on various international working groups and expert panels focused on oceanographic data collection and its management with the EU, UN, and others. In 1996 John established Marine Informatics which became IDS Monitoring. Earlier this year IDS became part of Green Rebel Group.
Jared has over a decade of research and survey planning experience. He has a degree in geoscience, a masters in sedimentology, and a PhD in marine geology. Jared has published many scientific works from multibeam-based seabed geomorphology to Bayesian probability modelling for offshore renewable energy developments. He has worked as a geological consultant for several marine industries and held a postdoctoral position at UCC researching Irish offshore renewable energy development. Recently Jared was made a Chartered Scientist (CSci), a Chartered Marine Scientist (CMarSci) and a Fellow of the Institute for Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (FIMarEST). Jared was one of the first in Green Rebel and has created a strong team of expert scientists in the development of the business.
